Php mysql with abyss web server software#
By being retroactive, you are as big a orange as I am, except that I actually did something( giving you the software you cant use ) whereas all you haters are just leeching off the web. Get over yourselves and stop acting holier than thou, since if you were, youd have already written all the guides you would ever need and would have written your own software server. That doesn't help anyone, and most likely just causes me to be a bigger orange to you and ignore any of your suggestions. If only there was a community to drive development of a better guide.oh wait, youd all rather bitch and moan that i am a orange. help then try the command, does it do what you want? no? then try the next one.
I dont get why people see it so hard to use. Sure a backup is a good idea, but the wiki shouldnt be down, thats just silly.ģ)Because of 2, I have to answer relatively simple questions that shouldnt need to be asked, as tshock is rather easy to use. This means that none of the documentation is available.
Its just a simple fact that since I don't get paid, I will simply add what entertains me the most.Ģ)I have to deal with a melonty vps that causes my buildbot and wiki to crash every few hours, to the point where my wiki is dead.

If that doesnt float your boat, then you need to learn to code or find someone who does so that each and every one of your features are added. Lets just all take a step back and ponder why I treat everyone so hostilely.ġ) I am effectively the only person working on the project, so its up to me to decide what gets added and what doesn't. Don't mouth off to me, if I had my way tshock would be abandoned 3+ months ago and no one would be workign on it. Fork our repo, make the change, test it, make a pull request, and your feature( which is like 3-4 lines ) would be included. There are plenty of bright coders, and i'll be damned if you said you couldnt do this, but the reason we are open source is so that people like you can stop whining and implement stuff yourself.
Which one do you think is more interesting and worthwhile? Since most people don't have the knowledge to add hooks and whatnot to the server thats where i spend my time. Then i see two requests one for hardmode creep disabling and one for adding a new field to a db.

When i sit down to write tshock code, ive already spent hours working on school work, working a full time job, or working on personal projects. When it comes down to it, you people make requests and demands of already overworked people. I didn't give you the middle finger, but thats okay, when you start contributing to the source code, I will let you say whatever you want. If enough requests come in I'd gladly make a more refined version of this for stand-alone use without the need for customization, so tell me if you like it!

If you need help with anything make a post, I'll try and help you at as much as I can! If anyone has any revisions feel free to post them as well. Also, with some slight modification of the bans table, you can add in sorting from newest to oldest and time stamping! There is a lot of room for improvement and modifications, and I encourage you to do whatever you want to make this yours. This is a very basic code so that with some web design knowledge you may adapt it to whatever website you might currently be hosting. The code will take the information you provide from the variables at the top, connect to the MySQL server with that, make an HTML table, and fill it with information received from the MySQL server. While( $row = mysql_fetch_assoc ( $result )) īy reading the code you should be able to tell exactly what it's doing.
